My Desi Love

My boyfriend and I have been in a committed relationship for over a year now. It has been quite an interesting experience so far dating a man who is from a different racial background than my own. Of course, this is not the first interracial relationship I have been in. None of my other relationships, however, have been this close to marriage. No, we are not engaged...yet, but we have been discussing it a lot lately. I am certain that he is the one I want to share my life with and I know he feels the same way. The main topic I plan to blog about is what it is like to be a young, African-American female dating an Indian man (from Mumbai, India...not Native-American). Although I am sure there are other couples like us who are out there, it is not something that I have ever seen personally. It would be nice to hear from other Blindian couples who will share their dating experiences.
